Dr. Lynn Silver, Assistant Commissioner of New York City's Bureau of Chronic Disease Prevention and Control, considers ALR director Jim Sallis an honorary co-author of the NYC Active Design Guidelines. She said, "The underlying collaboration was greatly inspired by Active Living Research and (Jim's) work."
